About the centre

We are a 70 place centre with an emphasis on family and community connections.

We are a purpose-built centre with neutral colour tones which promotes a richer learning experience. We have 5 spacious, light-filled and thought-provoking learning areas that are intentionally set up to support our flexible, child lead curriculum.

With an exceptional team of staff that all strive for excellence and work towards a common goal of providing a stimulating environment to support the children’s journey of knowledge and understanding the world that surrounds them.

Stepping Stone Allenby Gardens is a place of support for all children and families on their journey of discovery. A place for exploration, creating new relationships, enriching play experiences and a place where many memories will be made.

Our 3 large outdoor areas have been designed to invoke curiosity, exploration and enjoyment, we also have an array of interchangeable gross motor equipment which can be set up to challenge all children in their physical development.

Meet the Centre Director

Hello, my name is Lauren and I am the Centre Director here at Stepping Stone Allenby Gardens.

I have worked in the childcare industry since 2010, and in that time I have had the opportunity to work in many roles from starting as an educator, I was then given the opportunity to develop and grow in many other roles such as team leader, assistant director to centre director.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, dabbling in photography, watching the footy, exploring new places and spending quality time with my family and friends.

My team and I are looking forward to working in partnership with you and your family to provide happy, caring and nurturing environments where your children can feel safe, secure and supported through their learning journey. We believe that all children are unique individuals and learn at their own pace, so have tailored environments and experiences that drive and support their development.

We look forward to meeting you, showing you through our beautiful centre and having you join our Allenby Gardens family.
